The Paramount Arts Center is thrilled to announce its Fall 2019 Season Lineup! The Paramount’s first ever half-year season kicks off this July with an extensive assortment of musical artists, mind-blowing theatricals, and a once in a lifetime opportunity for local artists. We couldn’t be more excited! This season has something for everyone.

The Paramount will open its doors for the first season event on July 13 with Superhero Saturday featuring Heroes 4 Higher and a showing of Lego Batman. Dress up in your favorite Superhero costume and join us for a Meet and Greet with Batman and his friends, then stick around for a costume contest and movie. We’re changing up our Film Series a bit this season to give the community a little something extra! September will feature a Harry Potter Movie Marathon followed by an Interactive showing of White Christmas on Dec. 8.

Christian Rock Group, Big Daddy Weave will grace the Paramount stage on Aug. 11. The band’s Alive Tour is an exciting addition to our Entertainment Series and we couldn’t be happier that this chart-topping group will be our first concert of the season. The theater will also welcome 7-time Grammy Award Winner, Gladys Knight to the stage. Very few singers over the last 50 years have matched her unassailable artistry. Join us on Aug. 16 as the “Empress of Soul” takes Ashland by storm. The Entertainment Series closes out this Dec. 7 with a special Star Wars concert performed by the Huntington Symphony Orchestra.

CMA Award Winner, Deana Carter will kick off the Paramount’s Country Music Series on Aug. 31 with her dreamy superhit Strawberry Wine. Carter is a fan favorite for her blend of country and retro-rock. After two decades of stardom, she continues to defy conventional expectations – making waves as she makes great music! In September, the Paramount will welcome country music legends, Lee Ann Womack & Marty Stuart and his fabulous Superlatives. Anytime that you combine two big names, the show is destined to sell out! This pairing is going to raise the roof. Get your tickets now! Rodney Atkins will wrap up the Country Music Series on Nov. 2 showcasing his new album Caught Up In The Country. Atkins is hot right now! His music is playing on every country radio station and we’re excited to add him to our season lineup.

The Fall 2019 season will also introduce PAC LIVE!, an alternative to presenting events indoors at the theater. The first PAC LIVE! event will take place on Aug. 24 and 25th at Ashland Central Park with a performance of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” by the Paramount Players. Bring your entire family out to meet the Peanuts Gang. This FREE event is full of charm, wit and lots of heart! PAC LIVE! moves to the Ashland Riverfront on Sept. 14 with the Paramount’s first Riverfront Concert featuring Thunderstruck: America’s AC/DC with Special Guests 3 Days Under and Celest Watts and Devil’s Creek Special.

The Paramount Arts Center will partner with Dream Night Talent Search this Fall to offer emerging artists the opportunity to showcase their talent for a chance to win cash prizes, a huge amount of exposure, mentoring, a front of the line audition to either The Voice, America’s Got Talent, American Idol or Little Big Shots and lots, LOTS more! Visit to learn more and register for the competition. Fans will vote on their favorite performers and winners will compete on the Paramount stage this November!

Other exciting shows this season include Michael Bolton’s Greatest Hits & Christmas Classics, Vampire Circus – A terrifyingly fun Halloween Cirque, The Moscow Ballet’s Russian Nutcracker, Boykin’s Jazz Alley Series, Season Special – Paul G. Blazer: The Man Behind the Legend, and Paramount Players productions including Guys and Dolls, Frozen Jr., Carrie: The Musical, and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!
