Sharon Marie Wolfe, 73, of Cannonsburg, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 12 at her residence.
She was born August 5, 1946 in Cabell County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Paul Oscar and Fern Fulks Lewis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Neil Watson in 2018.
Sharon was a member of Garner Missionary Baptist Church and retired following a long teaching career at Cannonsburg Elementary School. She was deeply loved and will be deeply missed by her husband, Steve, daughter Nikki, and her many, many friends. The family is grateful that throughout Sharon’s extended illness that she placed her trust in Jesus Christ and is now in eternal peace.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 49 years, Steve Wolfe; daughter, Nikki Wolfe Ruethebuck and husband, Chip of Cannonsburg; brothers, John (Drema) Lewis of Scottown, OH, and Bob (Cindy) Lewis of Proctorville, OH; daughter in law, Patricia Watson; grandchildren, Zachary Watson, Megan O’Neal, Brooke Pinson and Kathryn Watson; great grandchildren, Mason Watson, Jack Watson, Ashton O’Neal and Makenzie O’Neal; a special friend, Lisa Bocardand a host of loving extended family members and dear friends.
A private celebration of Sharon’s life was held on Friday at Steen Funeral Home 13th Street Chapel with Rev. Gary Arrington and Rev. Bob Quillen officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Community Hospice, 1480 Carter Avenue, Ashland, KY, 41101.
